Meals

-The MACS system contracts with a number of restaurants in the Charlotte area to provide hot lunches to students at affordable prices. Parents/students may choose from a short list of entrees from the designated restaurant, while fruit, beverages, and ice cream are available from the school cafeteria. Detailed ordering information will be made available at the beginning of each school year.

-Students also have the option of bringing their own lunches. Those who choose not to order the school entrees still have the option to purchase fruit, beverages, and ice cream from the cafeteria. Parents should instruct students that they are not able to change their lunch order, even though the student may prefer 5 ice creams rather than the lunch ordered.

  HELPFUL HINTS for using the EXCEL LUNCH ORDER FORM!  

  1. Click here to access the lunch order form in EXCEL spreadsheet format.

  2. Fill in the blue highlighted name and classroom.  This will be copied to each day.

  3. Fill in the amount check boxes next to each item you wish to order (e.g. 1 juice, 2 pizza slices) and the daily amounts will be totaled for you.

  4. You must TAB off of the last item you enter in order for it to be included in the daily total.  The weekly total will also be generated for you.

  5. Be sure to check the list of upcoming field trips in the far right column so that you do not order on these dates - no credits will be given!

  6. Please print the updated form and then return it to school with a check for the total amount per student.
