St. Gabriel Catholic School’s Mission is to provide an exceptional education and prepare each student in mind, body, and spirit to go forth and glorify the Lord by his or her life.  The foundation of our Mission is the Catechism of the Catholic Church, which we model and uphold in a nurturing and virtuous environment.

🕖 Students may be dropped off as early as 7:00 AM and should proceed directly to the gym, where before-school care is available. They may go to their classroom starting at 7:15 AM.

📚 Our school day begins promptly at 7:45 AM. Each morning at 7:45 AM, we begin our day with announcements and the Pledge of Allegiance on Jaguar TV, followed by a daily devotion and prayer led over the intercom by Mrs. Snoke or Mrs. Jenkins.

🕒 Dismissal times are staggered by grade level as follows:

🧒 Kindergarten & 1st Grade: 2:20 PM

📘 2nd & 3rd Grade: 2:35 PM

📗 4th & 5th Grade: 2:45 PM

⚠️ Please note: The school office closes at 3:15 PM. Any student not picked up by that time will be asked to come to the office to sign out their child. In situations where children are late repeatedly, a notice with information on an additional fee will be explained.

⏰ We kindly ask all families to be prompt at dismissal out of respect for your child and our staff.

🎒 ASEP information is available on our website, and registration forms are available in the MACS Portal.  ASEP begins for kindergarten students on Monday, August 25th, all other grades will begin ASEP on Wednesday, August 20^th.

Beginning the week of June 9th, our office hours are 8:30 am - 12:30 pm, Monday - Thursday (closed Fridays). 

We are closed the week of June 30th - July 4th. 

Regular office hours resume August 4th.

Classroom assignment letters for kindergarten and new families with children in grades 1-5 will be sent to student portals on August 14^th.

• Wednesday, August 20: First half day for students with last names A–L
• Thursday, August 21: First half day for students with last names M–Z
• Friday, August 22: All kindergarten students attend for their final half day

During the first week of school, parents are welcome to walk their kindergarteners to the gym each morning. Teachers will meet the students there and walk them to their classrooms at 7:35 AM. Please note that parents will not be permitted to walk students directly to the classroom.

Starting the second week of school, families will follow our regular morning carpool process. Students will enter the building independently, but rest assured—our faculty will be stationed throughout the building to warmly greet our kindergarteners and help guide them to the gym or their classrooms safely.

A printable version will also be available before school starts; however, please note that only the FreshSchools calendar will be updated and maintained throughout the year.

FreshSchools is a comprehensive school management platform designed to streamline communication between Parent-Teacher Organizations (PTOs), parents, and school staff. FreshSchools offers features such as an online directory, calendar management, messaging system, classroom rosters, and a payment processor for PTO dues, dress down days, etc...

All new families will receive an email invitation to join FreshSchools in August.

🚗 School Pass™

SchoolPass™ is a platform designed to enhance school safety and streamline daily school operations, particularly during student arrival and dismissal times. It automates processes such as carpool management, attendance and visitor management.

A key feature of SchoolPass is its user-friendly mobile app, which allows parents to manage their child's attendance and dismissal plans directly from their phones. Through the app, parents can:​

• Notify the school of late arrivals or early dismissals.​
• Update pickup arrangements, including carpool schedules.​

These real-time updates are instantly communicated to school administrators and teachers, ensuring accurate records and enhancing student safety. ​

For new families, you will receive an email invitation from SchoolPass™ with instructions to create a username and password.

⏰ Remind

Remind is a communication tool that many of our teachers use to send quick, secure messages to parents and students. Teachers use it to share homework reminders, important announcements, and updates. Messages are sent via text, email, or app notifications—without sharing personal phone numbers.

Health forms must be updated annually in conjunction with the school academic calendar year.
