Lunch Periods

Lunch is a great time for students to socialize and build friendships independently. It helps them make choices and step out of their comfort zones.

Schedule:

• Grades K-4: Recess first, then lunch in the cafeteria
• 5th Grade: Lunch first, then recess
• Students pray in their classroom before lunch
• Peanut-free tables are available

Visitor Guidelines:

• Parents may only join for lunch on Fridays or their child’s birthday (if it falls on a weekend, visit on a Friday).
• Max: 2 adults per visit – sign in at the front office.
• Bring your own lunch or pre-order with your child’s meal.
• Parent visits start after Labor Day and end two weeks before the last day of school (reminders in the newsletter).

Important Rules:

• Only take pictures of your own child.
• No cell phones for students during lunch.
• No buying ice cream or bringing treats for other students.
• Students must return to class with their teacher—parents cannot walk them back.

Space Limitations:

• If lunch moves to classrooms on a Friday, parent visits will not be allowed.
• Check with the school ahead of time, as last-minute changes may occur.
