Principal
Mrs. Snoke was born and raised in Southern California. She left California after graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Cal State University of Northridge and resided in Miami, Florida for 13 years. Mrs. Snoke met her husband, Drew, in Florida where they were married and had both of their daughters, Lexi and Juli. The Snoke crew relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2004 and Mrs. Snoke taught first grade at St. Gabriel for one year, and then taught fifth grade for four years. While teaching fifth grade, Mrs. Snoke attended the University of Dayton and completed a master’s degree in Educational Leadership. Her leadership journey began in 2009 as the Assistant Principal of St. Gabriel Catholic School. In 2016 Mrs. Snoke was selected by the Diocese to be the new Principal of St. Gabriel. Her teaching experience includes a short time teaching in public school, and most of her time in education has been teaching grades first through eighth grade and leading in Catholic schools. She also has sales and marketing experience for a technology company prior to having children. Mr. and Mrs. Snoke are both dedicated stakeholders to Catholic education, and specifically MACS. Mrs. Snoke’s hobbies include spending time with her family, health and fitness, and reading. Mrs. Snoke welcomes all of you to St. Gabriel! God Bless!

Assistant Principal
Elizabeth Jenkins
Mrs. Jenkins was born and raised in Miami, FL to Cuban parents. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and her first Master's Degree in Special Education from universities in Miami. Mrs. Jenkins later received her second Master’s Degree from Winthrop University in Educational Leadership. Throughout her educational career, she has taught general education (grades K-5) and special education (grades K-8), has been a Reading Coach, and has served as an administrator too. Mrs. Jenkins is thrilled to be continuing her administrative journey here at St Gabriel for the 2023-2024 school year! Her work with children began almost 30 years ago and she says that she can't imagine doing anything else.

Darlene Rawlins
Mrs. Rawlins joined the St. Gabriel School Office in 1999! She spent the first 16 years as an assistant before moving into her Office Manager position. She is a Mom to 3 amazing daughters. She loves to travel and hike the big mountains all over the world: Nepal, Bhutan & the Alps! She is a huge sports fan and loves the Tar Heels, Yankees, and Georgia Bulldogs. Her favorite thing to do is hang out with her Grandson!

School Secretary
Michelle Reeves
Before taking on the role as Secretary, Mrs. Reeves was an Assistant Teacher at St. Gabriel for 13 years. She was born and raised in New Orleans and yes, she still has the accent! She attended LSU and is an avid LSU fan and Saints fan. As they say down in NOLA “GEAUX TIGERS” and “WHO DAT!” She loves cooking cajun dishes and boiling crayfish, although that is not Mr. Reeves favorite. She is most proud of her 3 boys. Patrick, graduated from NC State, living in Austin, Texas and is in the Medical Sales Industry. Jacob, graduated from UNCC, living in Charlotte and is in the Medical Finance Industry. Sam, is attending LSU studying Biology & Chemistry, and is planning to attend Medical School. She loves spending quality time with her children and Mr. Reeves.

Cathryn Korecki
Mrs. Korecki received her bachelors of science in nursing from Villanova University. After graduating, she received her surgical training at Georgetown University specializing in vascular and transplant surgery. In her fifteen years as a nurse, she had the opportunity to work in all major specialties including trauma, reconstruction, orthopedics, and pediatrics. Her family has lived up and down the east coast, and they are thrilled to call Charlotte home since 2021. Attending Catholic school in Atlanta, she is excited to join the MACS community at St. Gabriel’s School. As a mother to a rising first grader and a four year old, she finds it a privilege to serve our children in providing safety and care while they succeed in their education.

Nancy Chiarelli
Mrs. Chiarelli is a graduate of Belmont Abbey College where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. In addition to her elementary teaching experience, she has served as a preschool Director. She is Orton-Gillingham trained and the previous Director of Kamp Gabe 4 Kids, a summer camp held at St. Gabriel Catholic School. In May of 2021, Mrs. Chiarelli was named the recipient of the Father Frank Excellence in Teaching Award.

Molly Gibbs
Mrs. Gibbs is a Charlotte native. She attended Appalachian State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a concentration in English as a Second Language. She completed her Master’s degree in the Art of Teaching K-6 at Queens University of Charlotte. She is also licensed by the state of North Carolina to teach English as a Second Language.

Jennifer Singleton
Mrs. Singleton holds a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from the University of Kentucky and a Master’s Degree in Child and Family Development from UNC Charlotte. She is a certified Orton-Gillingham instructor with a background in teaching both regular and special education students ranging in ages from 2-13. Mrs. Singleton and her husband, Sean, have two children, Brendan and McKenna, who attend St. Gabriel, and they are all active in the parish. Mrs. Singleton is passionate about her role in guiding her students on both their educational and faith journeys.

Christine Giroux
Mrs. Giroux graduated from Belmont Abbey College where she studied Elementary Education. Mrs. Giroux has taught both kindergarten and first grade at St. Gabriel Catholic School, and currently teaches kindergarten.

Kelly Darling
Mrs. Darling holds a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago. Her previous teaching experience includes preschool, kindergarten, first grade, third grade, and fourth grade. She currently teaches first grade at St. Gabriel.

Sarah Marsha
Mrs. Marsha graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She also holds a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University. Mrs. Marsha's previous teaching experience includes preschool and first grade. Additionally, she has experience as a reading interventionist serving third-fifth grade students.

Carolyn Sutton
Ms. Sutton has a bachelor’s degree from Randolph Macon, and received her Masters in Early Childhood Development from Oglethorpe University. She taught Kindergarten at Myers Park Traditional before she had her own children, and recently got back into teaching last year as an assistant at St. Ann’s. After many years away to raise her children she is thrilled to be back in the classroom, and is so excited to be a part of the St. Gabriel Family.

Maggie Mulhall
Ms. Mulhall is a graduate of Appalachian State University. She holds a Master of Arts degree from Queens University of Charlotte and is Orton-Gillingham trained. She joined the St. Gabriel team in 2015 and has experience teaching kindergarten, first, and second grade. She enjoys creating a classroom environment that nurtures and fosters a lifelong love of learning each day.

Mary Lauren Shea
Ms. Shea was born and raised in Charlotte. Having attended Catholic school for some of her own elementary years, she rejoined the MACS system at St Gabriel School in 2020. Mary Lauren attended Texas Christian University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's Degree in Science Curriculum and Instruction.

Hayden Rockecharlie
Ms. Rockecharlie, a proud Charlotte native, is excited to be teaching in the MACS system as a second-grade teacher after attending St. Patrick, Holy Trinity, and Charlotte Catholic. Miss Rockecharlie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Queens University of Charlotte and previously taught for five years in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. Miss Rockecharlie was awarded “New Teacher of the Year” in the 2014-2015 school year and “Teacher of the Year” in the 2017-2018 school year at Eastover Elementary. “Miss R” is thrilled to continue her passion for teaching at St. Gabriel while she also pursues her Master's Degree in Reading Instruction from UNC Charlotte.

Donna Sparre
Mrs. Sparre earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Additionally, she completed a Master’s degree in Elementary Education Instruction and Curriculum. She is passionate about teaching in a Christ-centered environment. Mrs. Sparre’s goal as a teacher is to spark the curiosity of her students and ignite a passion for learning. Her hope is that her students will develop a sense of self and nurture a belief in their capacity to succeed.

Michelle Boyle
Mrs. Boyle graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She has teaching experience in first, second, third, and fourth grades. She is an Orton-Gillingham trained teacher and uses The Daily 5 as part of her Literacy program. In 2017, The MACS Foundation awarded Mrs. Boyle a GEE Grant for a Kinesthetic Classroom. She currently teaches 2nd grade. In May of 2023, Mrs. Boyle was named the recipient of the Father Frank Excellence in Teaching Award.

Alexa Tymon
Ms. Tymon is originally from Connecticut and recently graduated from University of Dayton, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Tymon’s goal as a teacher is to build life-long learners in an inclusive environment. Ms. Tymon has a passion for bringing in inquiry-based learning, where children are able to utilize their problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Ms. Tymon is very excited to be part of St. Gabriel and teach 2nd grade.

Sara Hoy
Mrs. Hoy graduated from Queens University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. She returned to Queens to earn her Master’s in Teaching in Elementary Education. She is certified to teach grades K-6, and is excited to be part of the 3rd grade team at St. Gabe’s.

Nikki Warren
Mrs. Warren is a graduate of St. Gabriel Catholic School and Charlotte Catholic High School. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University where she majored in Elementary Education. Mrs. Warren has a Master’s degree in Reading, Language and Literacy from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is also certified in the Orton-Gillingham instructional approach. In May of 2018, Mrs. Warren was named the recipient of the Father Frank Excellence in Teaching Award. Mrs. Warren was named the Hyundai Hometown Hero Teacher Winner in May of 2021. Mrs. Warren has been teaching at Saint Gabriel Catholic School since 1995 and all three of her children are products of Saint Gabriel, Holy Trinity and Charlotte Catholic. Mrs. Warren is truly vested in Catholic education and knows the gift of Catholic education as a former student, parent and teacher.

Anne Obeck
Mrs. Obeck graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Psychology from UNC Chapel Hill. She has teaching experience in 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade classrooms. In addition, she is an Exceptional Children's teacher, having worked with students in grades kindergarten through 5th grade in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System. Mrs. Obeck is incredibly excited about teaching children in an environment where Christ is at the center of all we do. Mrs.Obeck's goal as an educator is to build and encourage life-long learners who are curious about the world around them, compassionate to others, and tenacious about their goals and dreams.

Lisa O'Herron
Mrs. O’Herron earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Mrs. O’Herron has over 30 years of experience in education, and she is very excited to be a part of the St. Gabriel Family.

Monica Theysohn
Mrs. Theysohn graduated from Russell Sage College in Troy, New York with a BS in Computer Science. She also holds a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Queens University of Charlotte. Currently she teaches fourth grade at St. Gabriel Catholic School. She started at St. Gabriel as a parent volunteer, where all three of her children attended, before becoming an Assistant Teacher. Next, she accepted the position at the front desk for a few years while working on her Master's degree. Eventually, she moved on to teach Technology and third grade before moving into her current position as a fourth grade teacher.

Tracey Noonan
Mrs. Noonan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from SUNY Oswego. She also has a Master’s degree in Teaching from Wingate University. She earned this degree after thirteen years as a second grade assistant teacher at St. Gabriel. Since that time, she has gained teaching experience in first, third, and fourth grade. Mrs. Noonan is thrilled to teach at St. Gabriel where she has worked for over 20 years!

Julie Reinhardt
Ms. Reinhardt has had the privilege of teaching elementary-aged students for more than 25 years. Much of her career has been at Sacred Heart Schools in Chicago where she most recently taught 4th grade, Ms. Reinhardt's lifelong love of learning, especially in reading, math and technology, translates to her eagerness to find creative and effective methods to teach and engage students in the learning process. Ms. Reinhardt earned her Master of Education in Educational Technology from National Louis University and her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Iowa State University.

Deven Dickerson
Originally from upstate New York, Mr. Dickerson earned his Bachelor's Degree from Fredonia State University. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Winthrop University. He has over 13 years of experience working with students in 3rd through 5th grade.

Lauren Pollard
Ms. Pollard attended UNC Charlotte where she studied Elementary Education and was a member of the Charlotte 49ers Track & Field team. After teaching in public schools in the Charlotte area, Ms. Pollard is extremely thankful to be a member of the St. Gabes family. Ms. Pollard has a passion for helping students grow into successful, respectful, and hard-working young adults.

Jennifer Cosgrove
Prior to moving to Charlotte, Mrs. Cosgrove taught in both public and private schools in New Jersey. She taught Kindergarten through sixth grade for over nineteen years. Prior to teaching, she worked with children and their families for seven years in school
and mental health settings. She also worked with Catholic Charities in Brooklyn, NY as an adoption and foster
care social worker. She has Masters degrees in both Social Work from New York University and Education from Monmouth University.

Meghan Olson
Meghan Olson has taught at St. Gabriel's for 16 years. Originally from Cincinnati, she graduated from the University of Dayton in 2007 and moved to Charlotte to pursue her early childhood degree. Mrs. Olson received her Master's in Education at Wingate University. Mrs. Olson was named the recipient of the Father Frank Excellence in Teaching Award for the 2019-2020 school year. She loves the community of St. Gabriel's and is excited for her 9th year in fifth grade!

STEM
Jeni Stutzman
Mrs. Stutzman is a product of Catholic schools, attending St. Gabriel, Holy Trinity, and Charlotte Catholic. Mrs. Stutzman received her degree in Elementary Education from East Carolina University. Helping children develop a love for learning is what Mrs. Stutzman enjoys the most.

STEM
Megan Hinrichs
Mrs. Hinrichs earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton, and went on to earn her Masters Degree in Reading from California State University, Fullerton. She has also completed the Orton Gillingham Associate level certification. She began her elementary teaching career in Southern California. After getting married, she and her husband moved to Nashville, TN where she taught first grade at The Ensworth School. Upon moving to Charlotte, Mrs. Hinrichs worked as a Reading Teacher and Literacy Facilitatory in CMS, and later as a tutor in the Educational Resource Program at Charlotte Country Day. After staying home with her children for several years, she welcomed the opportunity to teach STEM at St. Gabriel school. Mrs. Hinrichs loves being both a St. Gabe’s parent and faculty member!

Jamie Deaver
Mrs. Deaver graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education from the University of South Alabama, with a focus on ceramics. Her ten years’ experience in education includes Residential High School Hall Advisor and Elementary Student Services Assistant roles, and most recently, she taught Art in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School district. Mrs. Deaver is passionate about helping students discover the best version of themselves through creativity, and is excited to teach Art at St. Gabriel Catholic School.

Jean Mulligan
Mrs. Mulligan attended Slippery Rock University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and Library Science. She also completed a Master’s of Science program in Informational Studies and Library Science at Rutgers University. She is currently the Media Specialist at St. Gabriel Catholic School.

Computer Technology
Mary Kay Connery
Mrs. Connery holds a BS from North Carolina State University, a MS from UNC Greensboro, and recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Learning Design and Technology from UNC Charlotte. She is currently the Technology teacher at St. Gabriel and has experience teaching elementary, high school, and adult learners.

Music
Vu Van
Ms. V holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Music Education, focusing on kindergarten through 8th grade students. Ms. V’s teaching philosophy is to provide students the knowledge of music literacy and to impart to them the love of music, using primarily the Kodály method. She believes that all students are capable of appreciating music.

Addy Jean Mullis
Señora Mullis has been the Spanish teacher at St. Gabriel Catholic School since 2005. She was born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico and attended Sacred Heart/Belmont Abbey College obtaining a BA degree in Biology. She also holds a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Wingate University.

PE
Patty Martin
Ms. Martin is a Physical Education teacher, Coach, and Athletic Director. She began her career in Illinois after attending Eastern Illinois University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in K-12 Physical Education. In 2015 she earned a Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix. She has been the recipient of several educational grants for physical education awarded by the Mecklenburg Area Catholic Schools Grants for Excellence in Education.

PE
Daniel Bayer
Mr. Bayer is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Exercise and Sports Sciences. He has taught Physical Education since 2005 at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Along with teaching P.E., Mr. Bayer has worked as a middle and high school Athletic Director and coach. In May of 2022, Mr. Bayer was named the recipient of the Father Frank Excellence in Teaching Award.

Nicole Downing
Mrs. Downing received her undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton and Master’s in School Counseling at Xavier University. Prior to moving to Charlotte, Mrs. Downing served as the Director of Student Services and Counseling at a Catholic elementary school in Chicago.

Jena Pedroli
Mrs. Pedroli is a graduate of SUNY Potsdam with a B.A. in Psychology and holds an M.Ed. in Mental Health Counseling and a C.A.G.S in School Counseling from UMASS Boston. She has worked as a school counselor in Elementary, Middle and High Schools in Massachusetts and North Carolina.

Theresa Anderson
Mrs. Anderson is a Graduate of Northeast Louisiana University with a degree in Elementary Education. She is also a graduate of Clemson University with a M.Ed. in Counseling. She is a National Certified Counselor and a National Certified School Counselor. Currently Mrs. Anderson is employed as a part-time counselor at St. Gabriel.

Aimee Reap
Mrs. Reap is originally from Buffalo, NY. She attended SUNY @ Geneseo in Geneseo, NY and received a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She also holds a Master’s degree in Reading Education from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. She has both classroom and reading specialist experience; currently she is a member of the Learning Support team. Mrs. Reap is certified in the Orton-Gillingham instructional approach through the Institute for Multi-Sensory Education.

Molly Kelly
Mrs. Kelly graduated from the University of Dayton and earned her Master’s degree at the University of North Carolina Charlotte. Previously a second grade teacher, Mrs. Kelly currently is a part-time Learning Support teacher at St. Gabriel.

Terry Goebel
Ms. Goebel attended SUNY at Oswego for her undergraduate degrees in Elementary Education and Mathematics. She earned an MS degree in Computers in Education from the University of Rochester. Her experience at St. Gabriel includes teaching kindergarten, first grade, Technology, and most recently Learning Support, where she specializes in reading and math instruction. She is certified in the Orton-Gillingham reading instructional method and has also received training in a multi-sensory approach to mathematics instruction.

Georgia Booth
Mrs. Booth earned an undergraduate degree in Special Education from Greensboro College and a Master's degree in Learning Disabilities from East Carolina University. Mrs. Booth's previous experience includes teaching exceptional children for over thirty years in the public school system. She has received National Board Certification in Early Childhood through Young Adulthood/Exceptional Needs Specialist.

KA Assistant
Sarah Powers
Mrs. Powers graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Elementary Education from Clemson University. She obtained her Exceptional Children’s teaching license while working in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System as an EC teacher for grades K-3. In addition, she has experience working in preschool and as a literacy tutor for 1st grade. Mrs. Powers enjoys working in KA as a Teacher Assistant and being a part of the St. Gabe’s family.

Megan Klinker
Originally from Toronto, Mrs. Klinker grew up in Charlotte and is a proud alumni of St. Gabriel, Holy Trinity, and Charlotte Catholic. She has a BA in Art History from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. After living in Virginia for 10 years, Mrs. Klinker and her family moved to Charlotte in 2020. After 15 years in corporate operations, Mrs. Klinker transitioned her skills to become a part of #teamGabes and help in the classroom. She loves being a part of the St. Gabriel community as a parent, teacher assistant, and parishioner. When Mrs. Klinker is not cheering on her kids at a sporting event, she loves decorating cakes, organizing her house, and game nights.

Leslie Walsh
Mrs. Walsh is originally from the Washington DC area where she attended Catholic school K-12. She graduated from University of Maryland with a BA in Speech Communications. Mrs. Walsh and her husband are St. Gabriel Catholic Church parishioners and have four children; all who attended St. Gabriel Catholic School. Her 20+ years in the church and school community has awarded her friends and memories to last a lifetime. Mrs. Walsh joined #TeamGabes in 2020 as a TA at St Gabriel Catholic School. Life is certainly full circle!

KD Assistant
Kiera Young
Mrs. Young was born and raised in Connecticut. She attended Loyola university in Baltimore, MD, and gradated in 2002 and moved to Boston. She moved to Charlotte in 2006 and married her husband (who is a St. Patricks and Charlotte Catholic alumni!) She started working at St. Gabes in 2014 as a teacher assitant. She has two daughters who are both current students at St. Gabes. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, gardening and tennis.

Angie Pierson
Mrs. Pierson holds a B.S. in Marketing from the Pennsylvania State University as well as a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law. She was born in Ann Arbor, MI but considers herself a Baltimore native, and will forever hold a fondness for the Charm City, crab cakes and Berger cookies. She followed her heart and moved to Charlotte in 2012, married her husband at the Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens in 2014, and is now a proud wife and mother to three beautiful children. While Mrs. Pierson has spent significant time both in the corporate world and as a stay-at-home mom, she feels very thankful that God has given her the opportunity to be a part of #TeamGabes and to work with the most amazing students and teachers each day.

Mrs. O'Reilly graduated from Belmont Abbey College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education. She taught in Gaston County and CMS title one schools for 10 years before having children. After moving up and down the East Coast while staying home to raise her children they are happy to call Charlotte home as of 2018. She has three children, two of which are currently in the MACS system. She joined St. Gabe’s in 2021 as a 1st grade assistant and loves being back in the classroom.

Sandra Savastano
Mrs. Savastano was born in Colombia, South America. She moved to the United States in 1999 and lived in New Hampshire for several years before moving to Charlotte. She joined St. Gabriel school in 2019 and loves being with the students. It gives her great joy to be part of their lives in the Catholic faith. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and attending Holy Mass. Her favorite activities are dancing and hiking. She feels blessed to work with such great people and be apart of an amazing team.

Dennise Pearson
Ms. Pearson earned her Associate of Applied Science Health with a Major in Medical Administration. Prior to joining #teamGabes as a Teacher Assistant she worked as a Paralegal/Legal Administration Assistant.

2C Assistant
Linda Click
Mrs. Click was born in Laredo, Texas. She graduated from UGA and Mercer with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and a Master's Degree in Middle Childhood Education. She was married for 33 years! As a State Department family, the Clicks lived in Virginia, El Salvador, Bahamas, Colorado, and Georgia. The Holy Spirit led the Clicks to North Carolina and to St. John Newmann and St. Gabriel! Mrs. Click has been a Legionary of Mary since 2007. She is thankful and blessed to work with such a compassionate, loving, and amazing staff and students at St. Gabes!

2D Assistant
Lisa Collins
Mrs. Collins was born in Zambia and grew up in South Africa, where she finished her studies. Feeling the need to see the world, she saved for a number of years before traveling around Europe. The travel bug bit and she decided to stay and work in London. She had many adventures whilst being employed by GlaxoSmithKline, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft and Oracle as an IT Trainer and Implementation Consultant. It was on one of these work adventures in Manchester, UK that she met her American husband, Corky. They immigrated to the USA in 2011. They have two wonderful children who attended St. Gabriel and are now in Charlotte Catholic and Holy Trinity. After 11 years of being a stay-at-home mom Mrs. Collins joined the St. Gabriel family. Since 2016 she has helped children grow academically, socially and faithfully. It is a blessing to be part of this community every day.

Toni Terjesen
Mrs. Terjesen has been working with children and families for over 20 years, as both a teacher and a social worker. Mrs. Terjesen holds an MSED from Hofstra University, as well as an LMSW from Fordham University, in her professional fields of education and social work. In August 2019, Mrs. Terjesen became a published author of the children's book "Even Monsters get Scared". Mrs. Terjesen recently moved from Long Island, NY to Charlotte, NC with her husband and 2 children. Mrs. Terjesen loves all things related to coffee, reading and the beach!

3A Assistant
Rita Miller
Mrs. Miller was born and raised in Manchester , England. She studied art and drama in college, and went on to be a flight attendant for British Airways. She and her husband moved to Colorado in 1994 where they had their three beautiful children; Ryan, Connor and Aleesha. They moved to Charlotte in 2006 and joined the St. Gabriel parish. Their children attended St. Gabes, Holy Trinity, and CCHS. She was a volunteer when her kids were in elementary school, and when they went off to college, she decided to go back to her happy place at St. Gabes! She has been a TA since 2016. Her hobbies are painting and traveling, especially when it involves going to see her grandbaby, Boone!

Dalia Fischer
Mrs. Fischer was born and raised in Colombia, SA where she studied Tourism and Hospitality Management. She met her husband in Colombia and in 1990 they moved to Charlotte. They are the proud parents of their son, Matthew. She loves spending time with her family and their Papillon puppy. Some of her favorite pastimes include hiking, cycling and traveling. She joined St Gabe’s in 2015 and as part of the St. Gabriel family, the children bring her an immense amount of joy. Seeing them learn and grow is something very special. She is both fortunate and grateful for the opportunity to be part of the St. Gabriel Family.

Georgia Fontana
Mrs. Fontana is a native of Charlotte and attended St. Ann Catholic School and Charlotte Catholic High School. She is also a proud 49er earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from UNC Charlotte. Mrs. Fontana began working at St Gabriel in 2006 in the cafeteria, then as a teacher assistant beginning in 2014. Her two children attended St. Gabriel and went through MACS, graduating from Charlotte Catholic. She is very passionate about providing support to all her students and helping them grow in their Catholic faith.

Manisha Edmiston
Mrs. Edmiston was born and raised in Sri Lanka. She moved to the U.S during her High School years and attended Charlotte Catholic High School. She earned her B.S.B.A in Accounting, from Appalachian State University. Prior to joining Saint Gabe's in 2021, she worked in the finance industry for 15 years. She loves being part of #TeamGabes and is very grateful for the opportunity to work with wonderful teachers and students each day.

Mrs. Kovich lived in Scarborough, Maine where she worked for Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PWC) for 25 years. She is now a teacher assistant at St Gabe’s, and also an after school assistant at St Patrick's school.

Allison Walsh
Mrs. Walsh graduated from Ohio University with a double major in Marketing and MIS, along with a minor in Sales. After graduation, she moved to Charlotte and has called it home since 2001. After 15 years in sales for pharmaceutical outcomes research, she took time off to care for her 3 children. During that time, she was involved in volunteering for St. Gabriel School and is thrilled to now be part of #teamGabes as the Marketing and Advancement Specialist.

"Mr. Naz"
Originally from Rochester NY, Mr. Naz moved to Charlotte with his family in 2016. After more than 30 years working in marketing, in 2023 he decided it was time for a change, and decided to bring his love of fixing things to St. Gabriel School. Mr. Naz and his wife have five kids, all of whom have graduated from or still attend MACS schools. He likes the Boston Red Sox, tinkering with cars, and his two beagles “Aldi & Lidl.” To quote Vanilla Ice: “If you got a problem, yo, I’ll solve it.”

Jake the Jaguar
Jake has been a Charlotte resident his whole life. St. Gabe's adopted him as their mascot when he was just a baby Jaguar. He loves being on #teamGabes because he gets to bring a smile to all of the children's faces every time he shows his cute face. When he's not welcoming students at carpool, or cheering them on during field day, you'll find him shooting hoops on the sport court or snoozing on the playground. #stgabejaguars
